Configuring the XRX Traffic Scope

Please follow the directions that apply to the PDA you are using.

Profile 1 is preset for Anywhere Map

 

a. HP 5915 Travel Companion

 

To configure the XM system, do the following:

Plug the Zaon XRX unit into strong 12v-32v DC power (good power is critical!)

AW158B Bluetooth integration module from Anywhere Map Plugged into the back of the Zaon XRX Traffic scope and Blinking Blue.

Start By making a Bluetooth Shortcut Tap iPaq Wireless on the start screen

Tap the Bluetooth tab at the top

Bluetooth Connections (that will take you to the my shortcuts in your Bluetooth manager)

Click New in the lower left part of the screen  

Explore a Bluetooth device will already be selected

Click Next (It will beginning searching for Bluetooths in the area.)

XRX Blue will appear select it and Click Next.

Service Selection will display Bluetooth name (ex. XRX) highlight name and UNCHECK the Security box. 

Click NEXT 

Click Finish!

Close Bluetooth Manager

 

Start>Anywheremap

File>Settings>XRX settings

We will need to Generate XRX code…….

File and Exit Anywhere Map; This will save your Changes

Start>Anywheremap File>Settings>XRX settings

Needs to be set on Bluetooth port 5

UNCHECK disable XRX

Output-Uncheck NMEA Data comport GPD0 ……

 

Look for the steady Blue light on BT module to know XRX is connected

 

DELL& 4700, 5500, 2400

Will use a wired integration Module AW158 be sure to let us know what display and gps you are using so we can get you the right cable for your needs.

Com setting in XRX are Serial cable com 1 in wired cases ……………..
