Subscription Authorization Failed
|
In the past several months, we have seen a recurring issue with some of the older PDAs where customers have been getting the error message that the subscription authorization failed when they try to run through the updates on their computer. If this happens, then it is likely an issue with either your subscription status or with the download manager. There are a couple of procedures that you can run through to resolve the issue.
1) You can go to start > all programs > Anywhere map > download manager > settings. If there is a code already in there, then it might have expired. In this case, even if you had a current subscription, you would most likely still see this issue. Please go into those fields and remove those codes and try to do the downloads again. If this fails, then there could be another issue with your computer. 2) Go to our website at www.anywheremap.com > support > downloads > and login to the download center. To the right hand side there are the "account utilities." If you tap the manual PDA activation button, then you will be taken to an area where you can obtain two codes. These will allow you to download from our website provided that your subscription is current. You need to put the serial number of your PDA into the field. If you are unable to find your serial number, you can download the program just below which will automatically locate your serial number for you. With the codes, go to start > all programs > anywhere map > download manager > settings and manually input the codes. This will provide you 12 months of update from the time that you have entered the data. |
