When using the Globalstar Weather, there are a couple of reasons that the Weather could be 30 min old or more.   This will happen if you do not have the correct username filled into settings.   To check this on version 1.5x you need to click on file>settings>wx settings.   In there you will find a WX username box.   This should have the same username that you use to log in and download updates.   This is usually your last name, first initial.   On Version 1.6 and greater, you will find this under file>settings>user preferences>wp/awlink.   If you have the name in correctly and you are still getting 30 min old WX, it probably means that you do not have a current  Anywhere Link subscription.   This comes with the Anywhere WX yearly subscription.   You can double check this by logging into the download section of  anywheremap.com and checking the expiration date  of your subscription on the right side of the page.   If it is expired, you would need to purchase a renewal, and when it is processed and our database is updated you will begin to get current WX.
