Any aircraft flying by instrument rules is required to submit their flight plan to the F.A.A. and then wait to taxi. Once received, the FAA alters, approves, and radios the pilot with the revised flight plan. This entire process is called “Clearance Delivery”.

When most aircraft wait for approval from the FAA, they must keep their engines running to provide power to their radio. The Exp Bus provides the option of routing power to the radio, without having to keep your engine running.
