No GPS or No Com on Dell x51
|
Common Reasons: Bluetooth shortcut is not created correctly, Bluetooth is not turned on or system PS setting not correct. Fix: Close Anywhere Map then click on the Bluetooth icon in bottom right corner of main start screen. Click on Com Ports tab and see if the GPS is listed and on what com port. If not listed, click on Devices tab and look for it there. If it is not listed, follow the Help Topics article to create a new connection. Go to Start>Settings>System>GPS, ensure both the program and hardware ports are set to None. Then open Anywhere Map and check under File>Settings>GPS Settings, make sure the com port matches the one in Bluetooth Manager and data rate is set to 4800, no other boxes are checked except the bottom 3>Done. |
