GPS Gate Icon will Change from Red to Yellow and there will also be a picture of a serial Port with a green and yellow connection symbol. Once you see this you are connected and Can start Anywhere Map

Once in Anywhere map Go to settings up at the Top and then GPS

Make sure that the Com Port is set on com 1

Then hit OK You should then see that the GPS says NO SAT. that means everything is connected. The GPS just hasn’t received any Data yet. Make sure it is in good clear view of the sky and it should acquire data soon

If you have just Downloaded GPS Gate or we didn’t set it up for you here are the steps you need to do

First look in Bluetooth manager to see if you have a shortcut created

If you are not sure what Com Port your GPS is set on you can highlight the gps shortcut and then Tap on Details it will give you all the info you need

If you need to add a Bluetooth GPS

New Connection>Express Mode> Searching for device> Should Find iBT-GPS(or HI-406bt) Highlight and hit Next. (Link XM First this will put it on COM 40, so GPS Can be on COM 41) Next (again)> SPP Connection (then there is a box to Creat shortcut on Desktop; Leave that Unchecked)>Next> Finish

Double tap on the GPS Gate Icon and hit Advanced settings or right click on the icon by the Clock choose Settings

Tap Settings>Select Com port 41 Hit ok

Adding Outport Com ports >Output Tab

In the Drop down box select Virtual Com port and tap NEW this will bring up the Virtual Serial Port first should be Com 1 then hit OK. Repeat add Com 2, and then add Com 3.

Once you have added your 3 com ports.

Select the Advanced Tab at the Top

You are going to UNCHECK Start GPS Gate on Boot up

If that is Check marked GPS Gate will Start as soon as Windows Starts. If your GPS isn’t turned on before you start your tablet it will Never connect because GPS Gate will have already Connected that Com port even though there was no GPS. So you want to make sure your GPS is turned on Before YOU start GPS Gate

Now you are Done with the Settings You may start GPS Gate now.
