Issue: Anywhere SST tablet screen is dark/backlight is low after boot even after turning the Backlight up in the Samsung Battery Manager

Resolution: Edit the default backlight setting in the BIOS.

Power on Tablet, Adjust the backlight to maximum, then restart the tablet.

On restart, right click or tap the (R) on the frame of the tablet, which will allow you access to the BIOS. Select Boot menu, select Brightness Mode Control, select User Control, select Exit. Save changes and exit BIOS.

Now the tablet will restart at the same brightness level as when you turned it off last.
