If the Anywhere Map program will not open, and the button is highlighted with a yellow box, this generally indicates that the Anywhere Map executable file has become corrupted in some fashion & will need to be replaced.
You'll need to power on the ATC & connect it to your computer just like a regular update routine (make sure that it's sitting on the "Pocket Plates, Anywhere Map & Navigation" button screen & unlocked prior to plugging into your PC). Once connected to your PC, you should see the 'sync' picture on the ATC (picture of computer screen w/rotating arrows & a keyboard); once you see that displayed on the ATC, just set it aside for the time being.
Once the file has been saved, you should be able to locate the new file on your desktop screen along with all the rest of your desktop shortcut icons, etc.
Once you've located the newly downloaded "AWM310.exe" file, RIGHT-click on it & select "CUT".
Now open your "My Computer" browser & double-click on the "ATCMAP"/"ATCSD" drive, then the "DAT" folder listed there.
Finally, click on the "EDIT" menu across the top & select "PASTE". You'll be prompted to 'overwrite/replace the existing file' - answer YES to replace the existing (broken) file with the new copy.
