Power on the ATC (not plugged into power supply) Tap the reset button and allow the ATC to return to the Main System Screen (PP/AWM/HP NAV) Ensure the Date and Time are accurate on this page. If they are not please see the "Setting Date/Time Help Article. Once correct, continue with these instructions.
Connect the ATC to the PC On PC, go to Start>My Computer
2 additional drives should be listed.(TFat, Removable Disk, ATCMAP or ATCSD) One will include a Control Vision folder and another will include a DAT folder
Open the TFAT drive (which contains the Control Vision folder)
Delete the files contained in this folder- taking special caution NOT to delete the Control Vision Folder or the IPAQ folder
Close the TFAT drive and My Computer
Unplug the ATC from the PC
The ATC should now be able to better acquire and maintain Satelitte acquisition. If the issue persists, continue with the following instructions:
Power on the ATC (not plugged into power supply) Tap the reset button and allow the ATC to return to the Main System Screen (PP/AWM/HP NAV) Press and hold the scroll wheel (do not release)
Press and hold the reset button with the stylus for 10 seconds
Release the reset button but continue to hold the scroll wheel
The screen should turn black and go to the RUU mode (continue to hold the scroll wheel)
Finally it will display a 0-12 listing, at which point the scroll wheel should be released
Use the scroll wheel in its normal function to scroll down to highlight #10-Reset Registry
Press in once on the scroll wheel to select (being careful not to roll the wheel while pressing in)
The ATC will reset, taking approx. 90 seconds to come back to the 3 icons screen at which point the ATC is ready to be used again.
