XRX Traffic Scope Setup

XRX Setup Instructions
Plug the Zaon XRX unit into strong 12v-32v DC power (good power is critical!) Plug the AW158B Bluetooth integration module from Anywhere Map into the back of the Zaon XRX Traffic scope. Power on the XRX by pressing the upper left button. A blue light on the adapter will illuminate on the adapter and should be blinking at this point. On the front of the XRX, press the middle right button, press the down button until Com is highlighted, press the middle right button to select, ensure AnywhereMap/Profile 1 is highlighted, press the middle right button to select, use the down arrow to highlight Exit, press the middle right button to select. The XRX will now display AnywhereMap or Profile 1 on the screen. A Bluetooth Shortcut will now need to be made in the Bluetooth Manager of your device. Please refer to the individual Bluetooth Setup instructions on completing this step. If using hardwired adapter, skip this step and start Anywhere Map. Once the bluetooth shortcut has been created, close the bluetooth manager, start Anywhere Map. PDA Settings: File>Settings>XRX Settings, contact Control Vision Support (this may be done ahead of time). Relay the XRX code listed here to receive an unlock key. Enter the Unlock Key provided by CV support. Tap OK. File>Exit Anywhere Map Start Anywhere Map. File>Settings>XRX Settings, Uncheck Disable XRX Traffic. Select Bluetooth Serial Port Com 5 in the drop down menu. (Depending on what device you have the com port may be different) Tap OK. The blue light on the XRX BlueLink will now be solid blue and set up is complete. Tablet/Laptop Settings: Settings>XRX Settings, contact Control Vision Support (this may be done ahead of time). Relay the XRX code listed here to receive an unlock key. Enter the Unlock Key provided by CV support. Uncheck Disable XRX Traffic. Select the com port reported at the end of the Bluetooth Shortcut process. Tap OK. The blue light on the XRX BlueLink will now be solid blue and set up is complete. Hardwired Settings: (DELL X51v & Ipaq 4700, 5500, 2400) These devices may use a wired integration Module AW158 be sure to let us know what display and gps you are using when ordering so we can get you the right cable for your needs. Settings within Anywhere Map are identical to above instructions however com setting is Serial Cable Com 1. |
