What is the difference between the Quadra and the ATC (Anywhere Travel Companion)?

The Quadra comes with a processor that is almost twice as fast as the ATC. This makes the screen refresh rate and screen responsiveness quick. On the ATC  we were constrained by this speed in the development of low and high enroute charts as well as sectionals (sectionals were discontinued due to slow response time). The Quadra handles these operations smoothly. The Quadra also comes with built-in WiFi so you can update through your home wireless networks.

How long does the initial subscription last?

There is a 12 month subscription to all of our information after purchase of the unit. Most information is updated every 28-days. However, 100LL fuel prices and SFR information is updated very frequently.

If I want to upgrade after I purchase a Quadra LT,  Quadra Basic or Quadra MAX, can I do that?

Yes. You will be given a new SD card with update instructions. Please call our sales line at 800-292-1160 to ask them about these upgrades.

How long does the battery last?

Typically the battery will last about 2 1/2 hours when it is fully charged. The battery is intended as a support if you lost your airplane's power to get you to your destination without problem, not as a main navigational tool.

What will the Quadra power off in the airplane?

Any 12-24 volt power supply will power the Quadra with our power supplies.

I don't have 12-24 volt power supply in my airplane. What can I do to make the Quadra last longer?

How long is the warranty on the Quadra?

All Quadras come with a 12 month warranty unless specifically stated otherwise. Open box sales come with a 90 day warranty. Units that have been physically damaged (cracked screens) are not covered under our 12 month warranty.

What if I don't like the Quadra after my purchase?
