Orange LED ON -- Charging Battery....
Orange LED FAST BLINK -- Charging disabled - too hot
Orange LED 1 hz blip -- unit is overheated, running on batteries
Orange LED 3 hz fast blip -- unit is seriously overheated and is disabled to protect the battery
Green LED ON -- Running on external power
 Green LED very slow "BLIP" -- running on battery enabled

The on screen battery icon that shows on the touch screen may take up to 30 seconds to stabilize on the correct battery reading. The on screen battery icon may show charging for the first few minutes while using a fully charged battery.
